Customer Service Office Automation
FTI-LA offers classes in Customer Service Office Automation. Customer Service Representatives talk with customers to find solutions to customer's problems. They may work at a professional or clerical level. Customer Service Representatives at clerical levels
deal with complaints about products or billing or receive orders for products or services. They answer questions and investigate and correct errors. They
may train customers in the use of products or
interpret customer needs to tec
hnical staff.

Medical Coder/ Biller
Medical Billers will be introduced to the concepts of CPT and ICD codes, medical terminology, and how to complete and submit the various insurance claim forms. Instructions will include detailed explanantions and exercises on how to correctly bill the various types of claims . The billing course provides additional opportunities to practice using medical claim forms while learning the many details of the different types of medical insurance plans, the factors that make the insurance unique and how to bill seach specific case. Students will learn about Blue Cross/ Blue Shield,
Medicare,Worker's Compensation, Personal Injury cases, and Managed Care Plans (HMO, PPO, IPA).

Import/Export Classes
This program enhances the abilities of students in a wide variety of skills in the Import, Export and Trade Industry. Graduates will receive the ultimate level of professional expertise in all aspects
of the trade.
This course will enable the graduate to obtain professional employment in a variety of occupations such as Custom Agent, Import Entry
Clerk and Cargo Inspector, to name just a few.
